The north side of Third Street between Ludlow and Wilkinson Streets. The house on the left was the home of Samuel Craighead, a famous attorney. After his death, it was taken over by the Dayton Bicycle Club. Next to it was the residence of J. D. Loomis. The house on the right was the home of Louis Gilliland.
