Anyone remember the Diamond Club out off Stanley Ave around Troy st. and also the Rendevous club with live band out on Salem ave? That was back in the days when 3.2 beer was still being served and you had to prove your age 18,and get stamped. When you turned 21 you got to drink the high test 6%.

Cbandy55, I remember the She. Before that it was the Golden Lion. My wife worked as a waitress/bartender there. I remember going on Wednesdays a lot. It was drink and drown night. All the beer you could drink for $3. I saw another post where you said you lived in the Seeger house. I lived on Gebhart when I was young and us kids always went to Seegers for candy. We would pick up pop bottles on the way and cash them in.
