Can't remember the name of the man who owned this business but the place itself was called the Cheesemans and was more a deli and they made wonderful sandwiches. The lived right across Far Hills on Lewiston rd. and moved into the house next door to us. Nice man and his wife. Baughmmers was another nice place to get a good meal and loved their chili.By the way Olds88 if your going back that far you will also remember the Donut Hut and Bolsers drive in restaurant all in that same area. Will get with my sister as she remembers names better than I do. Most people with small businesses around that area also lived within walking distance.

Forgot to mention the fact that where the Durell paint store now is on the corner of Lewiston and Far Hills was where the Bolsers drive in was and previous to that was a burned out night club that sat empty for months. That was back in late 40's and would love to know what the name of the night club was. Any chance you or someone else has that info?
