Years ago for many of us we lived through the "slogan and jingle era and that type of advertizing worked well for a business. Until the 60's many thousands of women wrote jingles in contests driven by sponsors to win money, appliances ,trips and other gifts. A movie made in the 80's called "The grand prize winner of Defiance" is the story of one family whos mother raised a family of 8 children with little money. Very nice movie and actually liked it well enough to buy it. Woody Harrelson, Julienne Moore, Laura Dern were the principle actors. Family videos still has it for rent if interested.
