They were a big thing around town at one time but then disappeared. I would stop at the one on 741 on way home from work and their food was way better than the usual fast food places as it was like home cooking. Does anyone know what happened for sure? Just saw one of their commercials but in another part of country.

LMD I thought the same thing and I also stopped at the one on 741 as it wason my way home also. Another fast food I thought was pretty good was Kenny Rodgers Chicken. Chicken was good and their side items were very good.

Didn't realize they'd left Dayton, was never a big fan. There are at least two in/around Cincinnati, several in/around Columbus.

Luv,
My favorite spot for chicken was Chicken Louie's. It was on North Main just north of I-75. It is closed now. The one bad thing is when you went there you would be acusted in the parking lot by pan handlers.
They might have had one on the east side also around Huffman

Panhandlers used to set up shop at the 35 exit ramp to Smithville Rd. No longer there since they made them register with the city and have papers. Nothing burned me up more than to see them smoking knowing how expensive that habit has to be. The really needy know where to go for help and the scammers are doing the panhandling or so it seems.
