Is there anyone who remembers the Custola, way out Far Hills almost to Dorothy Lane. I was built like an igloo, and has the new frozen desert treat, Frozen Custard. If memory serves me, they were near where the Dorothy Lane Market is today. It was my first Drive-in, and probably one of the first in Dayton. It was my first "burger and fries" at a drive in, unique, eat in your car, had the tray hooked in the window. This was probably the late 30's. I may be wrong about that location, but I think it was way out in the country in those days, the days before Kettering, there was no Kettering then. It was Oakwood and they country. Not sure when Fairmont School was built.
