Anybody go to Van Cleve? I graduated from 8th grade there in the class of 1969. The gym was on "stilts" on the corner of North Main & Helena Street, NW corner, while the older body of the school stretched back behind it all the way to Forrest. Our "playground" consisted of the open space under the gym. What a concept! I only regret not having taken any pictures of it before they took it down. Had I known, I'd have been there for sure.

I wish I could find someone that went here in 1975-1980 any pix please contact me at 480-577-4079 I know this is crazy putting my number on here but I don't have any pix of anyone from my school at that time thank you and I went to library and theres nothing about van cleve except when we did career day

I grew up on Homewood Ave. and went thier, but only for Kindergarten and first grade. Being Catholic, I started to go to Corpus Christi in 2nd grade (at the time, it was the lowest grade they had).

I grew up on Grafton Ave. and went to Van Cleve for kindergarten (1959), then went to Corpus Christi until we moved away from Dayton in '66.
