The Twist Club on East Fifth (?); the Liesure Time and one in Fairborn on the south east side I believe. Don't remember the name because we didn't stay long. Gunfire made our decision to leave for us. ----------

I used to be a go-go girl at the Purple Onion. I was 20. I remember I had to wait tables also. I came from the hills of Kentucky and had never drank. I could not remember which drink was which. Thankfully the people at the tables knew which drink they had ordered. I don't remember too much about it. We wore skimpy little outfits with fringe on the bra and little girdle that had been cut down to look like bikinis. I owned a Mustang and always dance to "Mustang Sally." I do not remember my bosses name. I remember him not being very nice. I read a post about someone getting into trouble for prostitution. My boss tried to get me to sleep with this guy one night. The guy did offer me $300 for 2 hours. I said no so I got fired. This was 1966. I don't think either one was a go-go bar but I remember going to the "Outrigger" and a friend of mine worked at the "Dug Out." I only lived in Dayton for a year. I lived on Cambridge Avenue. I think it was just off Salem. I loved living there though. I also worked in a nursing home somewhere outside of Dayton. Can't remember the name of the town. I also worked at a Parkmoor as a car hop.
