Does anyone remember the name of the gas station on Helena St. Right across from Parkside Homes?
My husband and I are drawing a blank and it is driving us crazy. My husband used to sweep up there for candy and pop in the 1960's.

I don't remember a gas station,,,,but I remember a little store ran by 2 sisters who were so very nice to us kids,Ginny and Gladys

My husband remember's the candy store too! He remember's the wooden floor at the candy store.
He went there every day after going to mcguffey school.
He remember's the Bluebird pie behind the school.
Being a poor kid had it's sweet side.

The gas station across from Parkside on the cross roads of Helena Street and Leo Street was Mac's.
