Loved going there for food and drink. Really, really good food! Used to get the most amazing Ribeye Steak Dinner I had ever seen, and it was only $11 at the time.

If this is the one near Englewood Dam, we were there over the 4th of July week on our trip to Dayton.

This is a favorite stop when I need to pick someone up at the airport (or fly in myself). Good food, good prices, never got anything there that wasn't good.

We go there a couple of times a year. If you haven't been there in awhile, I'll bet you that the decor has not changed! But still has good food and draws a large crowd on weekends.

Haven't been to the Buckhorn Tavern in a long time. Used to go about every weekend all through the 80's when it was owned by Bob and Debbie Vanderhule....very nice people! Buckhorn always had great food!

I was also there not too long ago and the place was packed with a 40 minute waiting time, or more. I forgot it was Prom Season, and lots of young folks were there for the special event. Even so, it was worth the wait and the food and service were great as usual. If you haven't been for a while, you need to go (and no, I don't have any financial interest in the place...LoL)

Really great food! I just wish the service lived up to how good their rib's are. Once you get seated it takes forever to get your drinks and almost never asked if you want another and forget about getting the server's attention for anything before your food arrives. But I still get there once a month because no one makes better rib's

Since I have discovered the Buckhorn Tavern for delicious rib steaks, I have gone back for more.

Grandma lived on Aullwood. Family would go to the Buckhorn for food and drink. Circa 1960. I was about 7 yo.

If anyone is planning on dining at the Buckhorn, you will need to take a detour, due to the closing of Heathcliff Rd., for a bridge replacement. Little York Rd., at Frederick, west to Meeker Rd., left,or Frederick Rd., to the south end of Meeker Rd., west to the Buckhorn. Happy motoring.
