there was a rental hall on stop eight back by the old license exam station, but it was called something else, haer's maybe? maybe it's still even there?... HARA arena is a complex of various rental halls on the north side of shiloh springs road at wolf, and still in business. there is another place on the other side of shiloh springs from hara, the red barn. i think it has/had something to do with hara? rental hall, bingo hall, haunted house, an antique barn/store, a variety of things i can remember going to there over the years...

There were two Haer's party houses. The orginal was called the Little Party House and burned down I think sometime in the 80's. It was just east of the newer and larger party house behind the old driver's examing station It is still in business and is called Celebrations. Both were built and operater by the Haer family which had a construction business. The driver license exam building is still there and is now the FOP hall.

I went to Haer's Party House in 1965 and/or 1966. I wore a John Lennon Military looking jacket with epaulettes and brass buttons. I found almost the same jacket at Old Navy 2 weeks ago and bought 6 of them and I bought some buttons on eBay to put on those jackets. My kids think there is something wrong with me.
