Does anyone remember a club (I think) the name was "The Tiger Lounge" on Main Street? It seems to me it was not out as far as the Tropics but in that vicinity. Also, a club in north Dayton called The Living Room where everyone wrote their names on the wall and they illuminated because of black lighting. Also, a club in Kettering, Town and Country, called the Dragon Lady Lounge? The Forum Club, Betty Greenwoods, Casinos Tyrollen Village. There was also a wonderful supper club on South Dixie located in a shopping center on the west side of the road. Can't remember the name but had great food. Many of these clubs had wonderful piano bars, featured small combo groups, singers. Another lounge was the BoomBoom Room in the Imperial House South. And also, the King Cole downtown across the street from Rikes. Then the King Cole relocated into the bank across Main Street - is it still there? Would appreciate any input from someone who can remember all these wonderful places I once visited.

Do remember the Dragon Lady, which was just a bar and at one time had go go dancers. The Colony Club was the upscale restaurant on S Dixie in Kettering where you had live music and dancing. That was back in the old days and don't expect to see them again anytime soon. Such a shame.

KB1967~ I worked as both a bartender and a cocktail waitress in the Boom Boom Room at Imperial House South. It was not in the 60's though. It was a disco and popular during the 70's with live music most nights. My favorite band was named "Crossroads" and featured Terry and Sandy Cross. They were a great couple and Sandy had a great voice!

KB1967-I'm pretty sure there is a restaurant in the Kettering Tower. But the King Cole is long gone. It was a pretty ritzy place!

The BoomBoom Room at Imperial House South was a very nice lounge in 1966 because there was dancing and live music. I actually because engaged at this spot in 1966 and was married the next year. The restaurant was upstairs and the lounge was on a lower/basement level if my memory serves me correctly. The lounge featured small musical groups or sometimes just a piano player/vocalist. These place were so wonderful and there is nothing of this caliber today that I know of anywhere. Those were the days my friends, we thought they would never end!

KB1967~ I did not mean that the Boom Boom Room was not operating in the 60's.I meant that when I worked there it was a disco! Sorry if I misled you. I worked the lounge and restaurant upstairs as well.I worked as a bartender upstairs during the day and in the Boom Boom Room at night.

I loved taking a date there in late 60's on Friday night I believe because they had an all you could eat seafood buffet with LOBSTER. ----------
