Doe's anyone remember the band Cotton?. They used to play in the oregon district at Newcom's Tavern in the eighties, also, Cincinnatti Slim ?. He played at the Oregon Express around the same period.. Does anyone know what happened to either band?...

Cotton also played at the Buckhorn Tavern quite a few times. Bob Patrick was the lead guitar player.

John Stanley is the Lead Vocal, and plays guitar. Good guy. I too used to spend time at the OE, and Newcomes. Copson, are your initials by chance, J.Z. ?

Copson, 78-85, usually at the Oregon Express, when Bill Gardner owned it, and Newcomes when Cotton was playing. Went to Sylvers Supper Club when Spitin' Image, DYS and McGuffy Lane were playing.

Thank's bill, yes we did travel the same oregon bars at the same time.. I dated a waitress from the OE, her name was Tina.. I think this was when terry and his brother took over the OE, it was in the eighties.. Newcomes was a good time. Loved that place.. Do you remember cincinnati slim? They played at the OE.. It was good band, slim could really slam that harmonica man !!..

Cincinnati Slim, also known as KC Elstun, is alive and well...and living in France! He's still performing. Look for him on Facebook.

Cincinnati Slim and the Head Hunters. KC is the best harmonica player I've ever heard. I can't count the times I went to see him back in the day.
