These names come to mind as we've been on racing every so often and was wondering why these 2 names have stuck in my head. Does anyone know? Thought they may be speedways but not sure. While were at it how about getting them all down in black and white as I know there were many more besides kil care.

Dahio was a drag strip (airstrip) at the corner of Old Dayton Rd. and Lutheran Church Rd. It ceased being a drag strip circa 1960. The airstrip is still there. New Breman Speedway was a circle track.

New Breman Speedway was a 1/2 mile dirt track but I think it is long gone now!
My cousins who lived there used to race sprint cars at the speedway back in the late 50's and into the 60's!
If my memory serves me I believe it was a fairly well know track where many of the big time drivers would come to race.

New Breman was a very important track on the USAC (formerly AAA) midwest sprint car championship circuit in the 50's. Eventually was paved and then closed. At least that's what I recall.

Back then Dayton was a hot bed and center for American racing in general and sprint cars in particular.
