Does anyone out there remember when Watkins and Fuller brush had sales people working neighborhoods? Our guy had a limp and looked like it was hard for him to be carrying that big bag.Us kids loved it when we saw him coming as mom always got a few things from him that she needed and sometimes a little something for us. Have tried to remember his name but have drawn a blank.

A few years back the wife got a hankering for the Watkin's Butterscotch Pudding she remembered as a child. Finally found it,I think at a shop in Waynesville. Sadly, it wasn't as good as she remembered.

My folks also had a tin of some really nasty smelling salve, Mom would trot it out when we skinned our knees, cut ourselves, got burned, etc. Foul stuff, but it seemed to work.
