Hello!
Does anyone remember these hobby/game shops?
The Tin Soldier in Washington Twp. at Far Hills & Whipp.
The Black Forest in Kettering at Dorothy Ln. & Woodman.
Hobbies International in West Carrollton on 741 near Alex-Bell.
I used to do a lot of tabletop war gaming back in the late 70s and early 80s. These are the shops that I remember the most. Great people, great times!

Remember the first two, but not the last one.

Hi Calhoun,
Hobbies International was a hobby shop but it also carried an assortment of games and gaming supplies. There was a large gaming table located at the back of the store. It was a very cool place to game. I spent many a weekend there during the early 80s.
If I am not mistaken, the poster on these forums known as "JohnC" was the owner. If it is the same guy, he also used to work part-time at the Tin Soldier when it was located at Washington Square shopping center in Washington Twp.
:)
