Thanks to you both and might add your pretty knowledgeable yourselves. Could call ourselves the three muskateers! A lot of interesting posters and never miss a day checking on the latest. I count too on olds88 as were from the same area growing up and was a fun part of our group.

We lived within a block of each other and did not know it and run into you on this sight was short of cool.Iam shocked at your observations of life as it was and what you contribute to this sight .Iam just along for the ride.I fear the history for todays youth wil not be nearly as interesting as ours.Ithink we had a thirst for knowledge and therefore ask a lot of questions.I still do today and try to get my grandkids to do also with some luck.

We were fortunate to have been raised in those times. Most of us had wonderful family lives, innocent and fun things to do,way less peer pressure. Have always been thankful for that era and would hate to be a kid today. My grown children even love to hear about life back then.FYI if you want good reading try to get Reminisce magazine and Good Old Days. Have gotten them for years and the stories and pictures, cartoons and advertisement way back when we were growing up make your heart race from the memories and what's amazing we didn't have near what kids today have yet we weren't bored. Think both magazines also have websites. www.reminiscemagazine.com and www.goodolddays.com
