Did anyone skate there when you were kids, maybe in the late 60s early 70s

My church used to have youth skating parties there a couple of times a year (1962-3). I remember moonlight skates to "Everybody loves Somebody Sometime" by Dean Martin. And I remember watching my dad who was so smooth and could skate backwards and all kinds of fancy steps. I loved that my dad was so cool!

Was that the rink on Nottingham that had the downhill ramp into the bathroom door?

If that is the one across Nottingham from Parkmore on N Main, I dated a girl named Terri Bray who skated there a lot in the late 60's. Always wandered what happened to her. Last I knew, she moved out near the old Fairmont East.

There's a church sitting where the skating rink used to be on Nottingham.

Our church used to have skating parties there also. This was in the early to mid 70s. I had so much fun there. And yes, there was a downward ramp into the bathroom. I loved skating there.

I think we are getting away from what i first posted, i have been talking about the skating rink by forrest park where winks billards was located and the she niteclub was. The rink was on the same side as forrest park was and was very old back in the 60s. I thought it was named frankies but i could be wrong.

I have a 1962 phonebook that lists a skating rink
at 24 E. Nottingham called the "Dayton Roller Drome",
but I too, as a kid, remember it being Frankie's, at
least in mid-60's. It was across from Forest Park Plaza.

We also always called it Frankie's but the sign was Dayton Roller Drome. We skated most of the time at Skateland at Triangle Park before it burned down and was rebuilt at Helena and Stanley.
