I'm only 37, but I remember so many jingles from car dealerships. Who can forget the Voss Chevrolet jingle that started "if you're tired of drivin' 'round the town to find a set of wheels". And there is the "P E F - FL - E Y, Peffley Ford is the place to buy, let me tell you why" jingle. How about "Score, Score, On Rt 4".

But my absolute favorite, and few will probably remember this, though I could be wrong. "You're only minutes, you're only minutes, you're only minutes away - from Hal Gilliam Ford, Jeep Renault".

And here is a little trivia question, what did the last word in that jingle (Renault) change to in about 1987 or so? I vividly remember it because it was several singers of the original jingle, but after Renault stopped importing cars to the United States in the late 80's, they had to change Renault to the brand that replaced them. And it was a female singer, but she said the new last word so awkwardly, and it didn't really "go with" the rest of the original jingle. Somebody should get this, especially you car guys......

How about: Drive a little, save a lot. Your little (cheeeper) dealer. Cheap cheap.. Steve Tatone Buick in Fairborn. Or this one: If your car is acting funny, making sounds you never heard, like a screaming wooly banshie or some wild and wooly bird, next time you need a car, heed my word, get a voss, chevrolet. Or did you say something about buying a new car? The worse by far is: Its gonna be HUGE! Please somebody tell Dave Hidy that he`s about as goofy as they come. gees!

Nope, not Yugo Calhoun. And FreedomWriter, your second one you mentioned is the same one I mentioned, LOL. I'm glad that song was so memorable for us all, not to mention the horse missing it's tooth, LOL. And yeah, the Hidy Honda commercials are just lame. Oh, and what about, "Paul Sherry Chevrolet, we try harder!".
