At the corner of Beechwood ave. and IMO Drive there are several multi family apartment buildings. Each one has a stone with a persons name etched in it over the front door. Does anyone have a history on this?.

Donw is correct.Ibelieve this was done mostly in the late forties and through the mid fifties.My mother,brother and sister and several other family members are a few buildings behind the old shawen acres.They were late forties.Today they build complexes and name streets after family.
