What resides on what was once North Star Drive In on Dixie? I live in Texas now and was just curious. I know Pizza King isn't there anymore either but didn't it sit on the very corner of Dixie and Needmore?? Anybody know what's there today?

I believe there is a Krogers store on that site now. Anyone else know for sure?

Tbone - Whenever I want to see what's at a location, I use Google Maps Street View feature. You can stand on the corner and see what's there, and move down the street with a 360-degree view of the surroundings.

I've been all over Dayton using Google while I'm here in Texas. Pretty stoked. Thanks for the tip!

I seem to recall that. I just texted my older Brother and he remembers a race track too. That was before Arthur Treacher's or was it behind Arthur Treachers?? I do ever so slightly remember that but would have NEVER came to my mind had you not mentioned that. What are Q midgets? Do you have any old pictures to share?

Hey Tbone.. I believe it was a LONDON BOBBIE FISH AND CHIPS.. LBF/CHIPS came later...Quarter Midgets are small race cars.. They are based on the old 60's style models of indy cars....We raced at different tracks throughout the united states.. The age's of the drivers were from 7 or eight years old to the age of fifteen.. You can go online and look them up..
