Does anyone else remember the Whistle Stop Pop Shop at the corner of Main and Siebenthaler? It was in an old Ice House and had the widest variety of pop (we call it soda where I live now)I had ever seen. We used to go up and get cases of pop (everybody had a different favorite). It was great in the winter, when you could just step out onto the breezeway, uncover it, and get an already cold bottle of pop. They had their own brand (Whistle Stop, of course), which had the most flavors. Go to an Ice House today and all they have is alcohol. Times sure change.

If we are talking about the same building. It was the Riverdale Ice House for the longest time. Last time I was through there, the building is still there. But the business is closed. But it looks exactly as what you described.
