Does anyone remember the Green Derby? There was an all-girl group that entertained there called "The Debutantes". Their names were Ann Ecklund, Nina Kindig, Roberta Kindig and her sister Terri, and I believe there was another gal who also played music with them. Most of them were good friends of mine. Nina and Roberta (Bobbie) have passed away. I don't know if Terri is still alive, but, a friend of mine said that she had recently spoken to Ann.

Yes, I remember it. One unusual venue. As I recall they were kind of formally dressed. Good music and ahead of the time. Jerry Gilotti started his first jazz club there in later years.

Was the Green Derby you are speaking of on North Main St. near Santa Clara Ave?

Duhhhh. I'm sorry. I was reading this and it occurred to me the place I was thinking of was the BROWN Derby.
