Does anyone remember Miller's Grove. It was a big (at least I thought so at the time) swimming pool and I think there was a drive-in theatre there as well. I grew up in Tipp City in the late 40's and early 50's and my parents would take us there as a special treat. They had a high diving board and it was the first high board I ever went off. I remember the water as always being very cold. I wonder if it is still there.

The Drive In is gone but I believe the pool is still there but it has been closed for quite a few years. You can see the pool on Google Earth.

MikeD...Search this web site for "Goody's restaurant? Miller's Grove?" just like I typed it, for some discussion of Miller's Grove and it's cold cold water!

Now maybe someone can tell me about the ancient abandoned church in that village, Frederick. It was demolished recently, but had sat there falling apart as long as I can remember (many decades). It must have been demolished for safety reasons. I was so sorry to see it gone as it always fascinated me. Does anyone know anything about it?

Hi Mike, well I do remember Miller's Grove and we went there in the late 40's and early 50's. We were taken by our parents and they usually took us to Clear Water, which also had extremely cold water and was just across the road from Miller's Grove.

On Memorial day we would go swimming at Millers(if you could stand the cold water) and then go to the drive-in across the street. Good times
